Justice and Society

Where does Society come from? What is “tacit agreement”? What are the aspects of the US Government that we can take advantage of?
In the Enlightened Civics Club, will answer these questions both theoretically and practically. Though often overlooked, civics is an important part of the American society that is vital to a just society and strong leadership.

 

The American Legal System

Civics Learners will learn by seeing the US judicial system in action. Alternating between historical and current events, learners will develop a deep understanding and interest about the political world and law.

High school learners will study real laws and real cases, witnessing the unfolding of legal history of the US government.

 

Speech & Writing & Research

The Enlightened Civics Club is a comprehensive study for future lawyers and diplomats. Although the contents can be intense, learners will experience being part of the greater community and will learn to formulate their own thoughts and ideas about laws in action.
Through re-enacting the US Justice Systems, learners will obtain skills in communication, speech, writing, and research.
