The Enlightenment Club is a project by the (P)ALS Club.
Our learners engage and excel in:
Our teachers are selected by topic and experience. Training for our teachers is extensive and assessments and reviews occur biweekly to maintain an excellent level of scholarship and learning environment.
Our Classics curriculum covers topics from
IB TOK and IB Philosophy.
What does it mean to know? In the Classics & Enlightenment Club, our learners study university-level texts and engage in advanced discussions to understand knowledge and tap into their deeper potential for learning.
Students will learn to think freely and deliberate responsibly.
Here, we will cover a breadth of knowledge from classical culture (ancient Greek texts) to political texts to metaphysical texts.
Learners will read carefully selected excerpts provided by (P)ALS as well as entire books. They will assess the culture, impact, significance, and ethics of the world around them.
A focal point of the Enlightenment Club is learning responsible leadership. Everyone has the potential to be a leader.
There are plenty of opportunities for our learners to get engaged in leadership, community projects, and meet groundbreaking thought leaders of various topics covered in our club!
